ADVENTURE IN NORWAY WITH JULIEN DUSSERRE

Professional pilot Julien Dusserre had planned to go to Pakistan this year, but the Covid19 pandemic forced him to seek an alternative adventure. So he decided to cross southern Norway in a bivouac flight, from Kristiansand to Trondheim. About 600 km approximately.

Accompanied by Antoine Girard, they had 17 days to complete the adventure, trying to remain in complete autonomy. With 30 kg on their back, they decided to travel about 35 km a day, a small amount at first glance, but quite a challenge considering the climatic conditions of the country.

“We discovered an incredibly beautiful country for its landscapes, its fjords, lakes, wildlife and the unspoiled nature on the high plateaus. For free flight, Norway remains a challenge of patience due to its temperamental weather conditions”.

“To help me on this adventure, I was once again able to enjoy the benefits of Niviuk gear and their 150-liter Kargo backpack. This product is very light while maintaining good comfort. I don't know of any rucksack of this light volume for paragliders. I was also able to enjoy the wonderful Peak 5, which is a Cross Country wing but offers adequate features for this adventure, as well as high performance."

Congratulations Julien!
