Jester: Main brake line important pre-flight check

To ensure the best possible setup for the new Jester, pilots are reminded of the importance of beginning with the correct main brake line configuration.

The neutral position is the recommended baseline for initial flights, providing the standard reference for trim and allowing the wing to perform as intended. Since the main brake line can be adjusted to achieve a more or less responsive feel depending on pilot preference, it is essential that pilots understand how this adjustment works and start from the appropriate default setting before making any personal fine‑tuning.

1. Check your main brake line configuration (BR Main)

Before flying your new Jester for the first time, ensure that the main brake line (BR Main) is set to the neutral position —the central knot of the orange group, circled in orange in the image—.

2. Adjust it to the neutral position

If it is not delivered in the central position, you must place the main brake line in this neutral position knot before flying. Once the configuration is correct, you are ready to fly.

After your first flights, you can adjust the main brake line to a new configuration of your choice by using any of the knots marked in orange, following the steps explained in point 3.

3. Main brake line adjustment to your preferences

The Jester’s main brake line can be adjusted to different lengths to make the wing’s behavior in this area more or less responsive, depending on pilot preference.

Under no circumstances install the main brake (BR Main) in the tip adjustment knots marked in blue; it must always be tied to one of the three knots furthest from the brake handle, identified in orange in the image.

The neutral position of the main brake line —that is, the correct one for a standard trim check— corresponds to the central knot of the orange group, circled in orange in the image.

Place the main brake line in any of one of the three orange knots, depending on your flying preferences.
