Liv Sansoz

Liv Sansoz is a renowned French mountaineer, climber, skier, and paraglider. She is also an ultralight aircraft pilot. From an early age, she displayed a deep connection with the mountains, beginning her climbing career at the age of 14. Her dedication and talent led her to the pinnacle of international competitions, earning two world climbing champion titles and three World Cup victories in the difficulty discipline.

Beyond competitions, Liv has undertaken significant personal projects. In 2018, she completed the ascent of all 82 peaks over 4,000 meters in the Alps, a feat that reflects her commitment and passion for mountaineering.

In the realm of paragliding, Liv has closely collaborated with Niviuk, using our wings in various expeditions. A notable example was her 2024 expedition to launch from K2 with a Bi Skin. Alongside Zeb Roche, they climbed the world's second-highest mountain without oxygen and became the first in history to tandem launch from the summit. This expedition not only tested her skills as a mountaineer but also highlighted the reliability and performance of Niviuk wings in extreme conditions.
