My father is an instructor, so I literally grew up among paragliders. At just 4 years old, I did my first tandem flight with him, and at 6, I started practicing ground handling with a specially sewn wing to make it smaller and fit my size. At 9, I made my first solo flight from a mountain, and since then, I haven't stopped flying.
At 16, I obtained my license and attended the SIV course where I performed my first SATs and heli's. That's where my great passion for Acro was born. I started training, and that same summer, I competed for the first time, reaching mid-table in the standings, which surprised me greatly. I am an
Acro pilot, but I also love practicing
Hike and fly and
Cross-Country. I compete in the
Acro World Tour as the only Italian pilot in the
Majestic circuit.
In 2021, I finished 8th in the World Cup and 10th in the World Championship, being the youngest pilot to achieve it and the only Italian pilot who has been so high in Acro paragliding. In 2022 and 2023, I have been the best Italian in the
World Cup, and in 2023, I won the
Italian Championship, officially becoming the champion of my country.
My main goal is to win the world championship title, so I am dedicating all my efforts to getting closer to that goal. I also aspire to grow as an athlete, seeking to reach my full potential and fully live from my passion. Additionally, I want to contribute to the growth and promotion of our sport, considering it a wonderful experience that everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. That's why I commit to performing Acro shows and working on outreach projects.
One of the best moments I've experienced was when I was in
Organyà for the first time at 16 years old, going with a couple of friends. Being able to recognize everything I had only seen in videos, watching the best Acro pilots training in the summer... It was insane! Plus, I got to meet all my idols, many of whom are now friends... It's been a dream come true.
I have flown with many Niviuk paragliders, from EN A to CCC, and I can say that
I always feel like I'm flying the best wing in each category. The one that has captivated me the most is the
Klimber P; right after takeoff, I could feel the power and speed while flying a truly lightweight wing. That's why I realize the effort Niviuk puts into all their products, constantly striving to achieve the best.
While I strive to be a professional athlete, I study for a degree in
Sports Science because I am a big sports enthusiast. I play basketball, volleyball, tennis; I love rock climbing and going to the gym, staying fit and following a yearly diet. And of course, I love to squeeze out experiences: I'm in my twenties, so I want to live life to the fullest.
