My first experience in the sport was a tandem flight with my father when I was just two and a half years old. From that moment on, I never stopped flying. At first, I could only fly with him, but when I turned twelve, I made my first solo flight.
Those early moments in the air sparked a passion that has only grown stronger over the years. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to developing my skills, competing in races, and embracing the challenges of Cross-Country and Hike & Fly.
Some of
my most important achievements so far include becoming the Swiss Hike & Fly Champion in 2021, winning several races in Switzerland, and completing the
X-Pyr twice. I am also the Swiss Junior Champion of 2025.
One of my favourite paragliding stories is that I kept my solo flying a secret for a long time, especially from my mother. As I mentioned, I flew solo at twelve, even though in Switzerland it’s illegal to fly before fifteen. I always flew under my father’s supervision, as he is an instructor, but we never told my mom. The secret lasted until one day the cleaning lady saw me flying and told her. After that, it was no longer a secret!
My main goal has always been to enjoy flying to the fullest while achieving strong results in competitions.
