100D reinforced fabric: lightness and stability

The entire surface of the Roamer 2 P is manufactured from 100D fabric, with Dyneema reinforced ripstop, featuring a double PU (polyurethane) coating and weighing only 99 g/m².

What does this material provide?

  • High tear resistance and minimal deformation thanks to the Dyneema reinforcement, ensuring the harness maintains its shape over time.
  • Superior durability within its category, especially relevant in “string” harnesses where every gram counts.

Dyneema structure

The main structure of the harness is built using Dyneema cords, known for their excellent strength-to-weight ratio.

The attachment points where these cords meet the fabric are reinforced with additional Dacron layers, a rigid fabric that spreads the load evenly, prevents localised stress and contributes to improved comfort and durability.

The main structure incorporates the Easy IKS System, allowing the pilot to connect the glider easily without the added weight of traditional carabiners. This system is intuitive to use and provides the same level of strength and reliability as standard connectors.


Three-dimensional ergonomic design

Despite its minimalist design, the Roamer 2 P features full 3D shaping throughout its structure for optimised comfort.

The seat has increased volume and a deeper profile, while the leg straps have been lengthened to allow the harness to wrap around the pilot’s body more naturally. This enhances in-flight posture, keeping the pilot upright and stable even when carrying a heavy rucksack or flying with skis. Pressure points are reduced, resulting in remarkable comfort during flight.

Zigzag stitching

All harness assemblies are sewn using zigzag stitching.

This technique not only creates a clean finish but also enhances tensile and tear resistance, allows better load absorption and less deformations.

TNT technology: Nitinol rods

One innovation of this model is the integration of Nitinol rods in the back and leg areas. Nitinol is an extremely flexible and lightweight shape-memory alloy, allowing the Roamer 2 P to improve its comfort without adding unnecessary weight.

What do these Nitinol rods contribute?

  • They help maintain the correct shape of the harness.
  • They enable a natural body fit without introducing unwanted stiffness.
