Radically light and compact


Weighing less than one kilo in its smallest size, the Skin 4 P is the lightest wing ever created by Niviuk. Built with the new N10 22 g fabric, it’s ultralight yet durable — 34% lighter and 42% more compact than the previous model.

The result is a wing that fits effortlessly into a backpack under 20 litres, ready for any high-altitude adventure.

Take-offs and landings without limits


The Skin 4 P inflates progressively and controllably, even in light winds or on steep terrain. It rises smoothly above the pilot, making take-offs easy in tight, snowy or technical spots.

During landing, its more effective flare provides a predictable and precise energy restitution, ensuring a soft, safe approach every time.

Tested in the Himalayas


The Skin 4 P is the evolved version of the wing used by Niviuk pilots during their Himalayan expedition. It was flown from the summit of K2 (8,611 m) by pilot Jean-Yves Fredriksen (Blutch), and during acclimatisation by Liv Sansoz and Zeb Roche, proving its reliability in the world’s toughest conditions.

Their feedback helped refine the wing’s accessibility, stability and handling — keeping exceptional control even at extreme altitudes.

Minimalist technology, maximum reliability


Every detail has been redesigned to optimise performance with the lowest possible weight:

  • Reduced aspect ratio (4.9): ensures stability and smooth in-flight behaviour.
  • Minimalist risers: simpler, faster and more responsive in active air.
  • Loop-to-loop connection: lines attach directly to the risers, eliminating metal links and saving weight.
  • Redesigned internal structure: improved load distribution with reinforced anchor points.
  • Ultralight Nitinol rods (TNT): preserve the profile shape over time.
  • Takeoff tabs / Ground hooks: allow the wing to be secured during take-off on steep or snowy terrain (included with the wing).
  • Integrated Niviuk technologies: SLE, 3DL, 3DP & TNT.
