Aviation, airplanes and everything that flies have always fascinated me. My paragliding story began when I was given a tandem flight as a gift after finishing school. A few years later, I decided to get my license… and since then, paragliding has become a true obsession (with all its pros and cons). I spent every free moment under my wing whenever the conditions allowed it. Whether practicing ground handling or exploring new flying spots, I absorbed every experience like a sponge. The more I flew, the clearer it became that this is what truly gives meaning to my life.

Even before I started flying, I loved filming my adventures and making music. Today, many pilots know me through the videos I share on my YouTube channel, and it makes me happy to know I’ve inspired some of them to follow their dream of flying. I remember meeting a student pilot once at a launch site. He recognized me and thanked me for sharing my experiences so authentically, because it was precisely that which encouraged him to start paragliding.

Beyond long flights or personal records, for me paragliding is not about achievements. Still, some of my most intense experiences have been during nearly nine-hour XC flights over the Alps or across the German flatlands. That’s where the feeling of absolute freedom truly comes alive. What makes those flights so special is not knowing where you’ll land or how you’ll get back. And realizing, once on the ground, that even in the most remote places you’ll always find kind people willing to help. That’s been one of the greatest lessons of my life.
