The X-Pyr is one of the world’s most demanding hike & fly competitions. Over several days, pilots must combine long hiking stages with cross-country flights, manage changing weather conditions, and make constant strategic decisions. In such an environment, equipment can make a real difference.

The Rocket P was flown by Pierre Remy, Justin Puthod, Jean de Biolley, Noe Court, Guillem Monroset, Antoine Franc and Baris Çelik. Stability is one of the harness’s most highly praised characteristics. Both in normal flight and while flying on speed bar, the pilots described the Rocket P as a stable harness that inspires confidence and allows them to focus on navigation and race strategy. 
The harness feels natural and efficient in flight. 
 

How does it perform on speed bar? 

Feedback while using the speed bar was very positive. Pilots highlighted good glide efficiency and consistent performance during long transitions, in some cases comparing it favourably with other harnesses they had previously flown.

Is there enough storage space for carrying equipment? 

The pilots were very positive about the Rocket P’s storage capacity, both in the cockpit and in its various compartments. This makes it easy to keep equipment organised and readily accessible throughout the race. 
In an event such as the X-Pyr, having enough space to carry water, food, and flying equipment is essential.
