Bastian Brüsecke

As a filmmaker and photographer, I have filmed over 50 international motorsport events, and traveled to many deserts around the world. Over the years, I have portrayed many people and I realised that what I really like is telling stories. That's why I ended up specialising in documentaries.

There came a time when I got tired of looking at the scenery from the drone screen, and that's when I decided to take up paramotoring. More than sport flying or competitions, for me it's about exploring the landscape from the air. And paramotor is the best vehicle for this, because you can glide slow and low over the landscape rather than just fly over it. 

Being able to film from this perspective always leads me to new adventures and so since 2018 I've been working on a project about the deserts of Iran and the Arabian Peninsula. In the process, I am planning to create a large compilation book and a documentary film. After overcoming many obstacles along the way, I hope to complete this project in 2024.

I like Niviuk's wings because they carry the same adventurous DNA as all my projects. They are the perfect equipment for me and my philosophy of life and work. They are gliders whose quality and safety I can rely on 100%, even when I am in the most remote places.
